Many breeders bury their guarantee in fine print. Ours is one sentence, and it's written into the adoption agreement you sign when you reserve.
"We are not happy until you are. If at any time before your puppy turns six months old you need to return them, we'll take them back and you choose: a full refund of everything you've paid, or a credit toward another Puppy Love puppy."
Why we keep it simple
A puppy is a big investment, in money and even more in love. You'll bond quickly, and that's exactly as it should be. But life can throw serious curves, and once in a while something goes wrong. When it does, we'd rather be right there with you than point at a clause.
Small Shih Tzus are delicate in their first months, and they are also about the gentlest, most loving companions there are. Treat them with care, follow the few basics on our Bringing your puppy home page, and you can expect a wonderful experience.
What the guarantee covers
- A full refund, or a credit toward another puppy, your choice, if you return the puppy for any reason before they turn six months old. The same choice applies if you change your mind before pickup, or if we can't provide the puppy you reserved.
- Our help if a health problem comes up in that time. Call us first. We've seen most things in 30 years and can usually point you in the right direction the same day.
What it doesn't cover
- Veterinary bills. Routine and emergency vet care is the owner's responsibility.
- Problems caused by skipping the care basics, such as taking an unvaccinated puppy to public places or not keeping up with feeding. Following the care guidance keeps the guarantee in force.
Our track record
The overwhelming majority of the time, nothing goes wrong, and our families' stories speak for themselves. But the real measure of a breeder is what happens when things do go wrong.
