From our families

Notes and photos sent to us over the years by people who brought a puppy home. Lightly trimmed for length, otherwise in their own words.

Lucy

We have loved little Lucy so much. Every time I sit down she has her feet on my leg wanting me to hold her. Stan has not been too well, and he loves to hold her while he sits. If Lucy is ever gone, our other dog Buster looks all over the house for her and won't eat until she comes back.

Beau, Bailey, and Dublin

Just an update on our three puppies. Beau is doing so well in our household. Bailey and Dublin are happier now that this little guy is chasing them and playing hide and seek. He is doing very well with potty training and has learned to walk on a leash next to Bailey. We absolutely love him.

Mugze

We are totally in love with Mugze. He is the best puppy ever. You can see how beautiful he is. Sometime when we are in Arizona I will bring him by. Later we may want a brother and sister for Mugze, and if so, we want one of your puppies again.

Penny

We got Penny before we had kids. She is a vital part of the family. We love her as much as we love each other. I can't imagine life without her. Thanks to Shirley for raising such a perfect pet.

Tuffy

Thanks for Tuffy in our lives. She is well-loved and well-mannered, just like a real-life teddy bear and such a flirt. As a certified therapy dog she brings joy to many, young and old. She visits classrooms of special-needs children and an adult day care, and brings back memories of pets and smiles to everyone she meets.

Mia

Bobby and I just wanted to give you a quick update on Mia. She's doing great and getting along with our Shih Tzu-Bichon really well. She makes us laugh every time we look at that cute little face. They're pretty cute together.

Skylar

I couldn't be more happy with this puppy. He is exactly what we wanted. I am grateful to breeders like you who truly care and do the best work possible to get the best dogs.

Zuzu

Zuzu is doing wonderful and she is so cute, as you can see from the pictures. My husband and I are so pleased with her and enjoying her so much. Thank you for having her and helping me to get her.

A birthday surprise

The little guy was a tremendous surprise for my wife's 30th birthday. She was in tears of joy when she opened the door and found him sitting in perfect posture on the doorstep with balloons around him. He has been very well-mannered and very snuggly, and he follows her every step around the house. Thank you again for giving us the best gift ever.

Cici

Another great thing about Shih Tzus is the way they help people who are unwell still get so much out of life. Sarah has had many challenges, but her little Cici makes everything easier. Cici doesn't care that Sarah is sick. She loves Sarah, and Sarah loves her.
